Richard is co-owner, CEO and a fourth-generation furrier. He has worked in his family business since age 10. He was trained in Europe with some of the world’s most prominent master furriers including A.C. Bang in Copenhagen. Richard has been president of the MD-DC Wildlife League and is on the board of the Fur Information Council of America.
Debbie is co-owner, buyer and designer. She creates “manomano”, a line of one-of-a-kind, handmade fur and knit handbags. As a Baltimore City Master Gardener she works on many environmental projects. Debbie also is on the advisory board of The House of Ruth and co-chairs their “One Great Thing” event.
David is our Chief Financial Officer and represents the fifth generation of the Mano Swartz family. He is known for his kindness, gentle spirit and big heart.
Julien is our marketing manager. Easy-going and always quick to help, his positive attitude benefits all who come in contact with him. A 2013 graduate from Syracuse University with a BA in Public Policy from the Maxwell School of Citizenship.
Joe became the driver for Mano Swartz in 1996 after retiring from Social Security Administration. Joe “Action” Jackson has a 99.9 % on-time record picking up and delivering furs to customers’ homes. Customers appreciate his professionalism and promptness. Many calling for fur pickup simply say, “please send Joe out”.
Julia is head master furrier and finisher for Mano Swartz since 1986. Born in Cochabamba, Bolivia, she studied under master furrier Simon Siedman when she came to Baltimore. Known for her precision, attention to fit and detail, Julia has been making Mano customers happy for years.
Liz, finisher, is from Guayaquil, Ecuador and is known for her quality sewing and perfect stitches. Quick to smile she is easy in nature, Liz has been in the Mano shop since 2012.
Cynthia, master furrier, has worked with furs since 1976. She has been the head furrier for some of the largest furriers in the United States. Cynthia began remaking and repairing furs for Mano Swartz in May 2014.
Tina has been from Tacoma to Tokyo, gaining a broad knowledge of retail sales and promotions, from positions as sales representative and promoter to manager and spokesperson, for over 25 years. Originally a Pacific Northwest native, she brings her varied skills to assist everyone at Mano Swartz, staff and clients, in any capacity required.
Harry Evans is Director of PR for Mano Swartz workings closely with many non-profit organizations. He formerly served as Executive Producer and Host of "That Show with Those Black Guys", an award winning nationally syndicated cable television talk show. Harry, always upbeat and warm, is beloved in the community for his work helping many organizations.
Tracey Bailey has been part-time staff for Mano since 2005. She has worked at T Rowe Price since 1992. Tracey bring a sense and happiness, family and positivity to everything she does. Her pride and Joy is her son Brandon who starred in basketball at DePaul University and now plays professionally in Europe.
Taffy Dobbins is a long-term part time member of our staff. She is the most sincere, nicest and elegant person you will ever meet.
Her daughter Jewel is project manager for Think a marketing company.
Jeremy is a health enthusiast and professional personal trainer. His positive attitude and work ethic come through with everyone he meets. He's quick to smile and lend a helping hand.
Danielle is a Baltimore native and full-time Mano Swartz team member known for her efficiency in reviewing all types of furs, as well as her cheerful disposition and quick smile.
Jake has loved fur since childhood. He is an apprentice of fur craftsmanship under Mano Swartz Master Furrier, Cynthia Parks. Jake is not only knowledgable about furs, he is also fun to work with.
