Consign My Fur: Take it to a local consignment shop who sells second-hand furs. eBay, Craigs List and other on-line options are not nearly as viable an option as the buyer usually wants to try it on before making the purchase.

We recommend “Wear It’s At” consignment shop, 49 Main Street, Reisterstown, Md. 21136 (410-526-2003). By appointment only, September through Decemeber.

Sell My Fur to Mano

Mano Swartz may be interested in purchasing your fur. We need older furs as “matches” to repair older fur coats. If we use new pelts for these repairs they will not “match” correctly. A twenty-year-old mink coat needs to be repaired with 15-25 year-old pelts. Depending on the condition and the fur type we may be able to purchase your fur for “parts.”

Unfortunately we cannot make offers over the phone or internet; we can only make offers if the fur is present in the store.

If you would like us to see your fur please bring it in between 4PM-5:30PM Monday-Saturday, no appointment necessary.

Donate My Fur

Donate Your Fur: Donate it to charity and receive a tax deduction. Many non-profit groups have second-hand fur and/or clothing sales to raise money for their worthy programs.

Consult your accountant if that would be beneficial for you. Mano Swartz Furs accepts donations on behalf of House of Ruth. Simply drop your fur off and Mano Swartz will take care of everything for you.
